Meandering with Mario: Bleecker Street Ramble
Join us for a casual stroll down Bleecker Street in historic Greenwich Village. Home to a variety of restaurants, shops, and businesses, Bleecker Street is a popular destination for locals and tourists alike. We will have time to stop (and shop) at long-time favorites like Murray’s Cheese (since 1962) and Faicco’s Italian Specialties (takeout), as well as explore various places of interest on, and around, Bleecker Street. We’ll meet at the library at 9:30 a.m., board a 14-passenger Ford Transit Van, and head into New York. You can expect to arrive back in North Haledon approximately 4:15 PM.
Cost, which covers, transportation, guided tour, and driver’s tip is $70.00 for the general public; $65.00 for members of Friends.
